Ziggy Stardust Debut

On February 11, 1972, David Bowie performed as Ziggy Stardust for the first time in Tollworth, England. His persona coincided with the release of Bowie’s concept album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
