Levi Stubbs and The Four Tops

Levi Stubbs, the lead singer of The Four Tops, passed away on October 17 at the age of 72.

    I am pleasantly surprised to see that my choice in the poll “When She Was My Girl”, is leading in votes.
    I figured it was somewhat less famous than the other choices. Good on ‘ya Adeli’s Music Blog fans. Obviously everyone around here has very good taste in music!

    Thanks for doing this Adeli, you’re helping with my kids’ musical education! They know many of these songs without knowing who sings them. I’m surprised you didn’t include “Bernadette.”
